Improve the user experience: Address the pain points of the existing data visualization tool (Workday Discovery Boards) by providing a more intuitive, user-friendly, and powerful data analysis experience
After the launch of Data Discovery to all Workday customers, the Workday business experienced a positive impact. We observed increased user adoption and engagement.
Competitive advantage: Differentiate Workday from competitors by offering a comprehensive, integrated solution for workforce management that includes advanced data analysis and visualization tools.

Solution
We delivered a redesigned discovery board with a focus on a few key points:
- Reducing cognitive overload by assigning each section of the product its own dedicated space, allowing users to focus more easily.
- Improving the experience of dragging a field to the Filter section by addressing the issue where users often lost the field halfway.
- Considering the product strategy, we also planned how future features will be integrated into the product.
